Terrifying moment a toddler in her stroller was hit by a SUV...

A four-year-old girl remarkably escaped with just bruises after her stroller was hit by an SUV.
The toddler was being pushed by her mum across the busy road in Scottsdale, Arizona, when the traffic lights suddenly changed to green.
An SUV driver, who did not see the pair, accelerated, ploughing straight into the mother and child.

Miraculously the little girl emerged from under the vehicle alive, with just a few scratches on her arms and face.
Somehow she managed to tumble underneath the vehicle, without being hit by its tyres.
After the vehicle passes over the girl, you can see her start to get up and walk towards her mother.
The moment was captured by CCTV on the intersection at 90th Street and Shea Boulevard.
Perla Romero, the little girl in the video, said she was so scared by the accident that she has not played outside since.

Her mother, Regina Aldan, said they were coming back from a doctor’s appointment when she saw the light change to green and started to rush across the road.
Police issued a civil citation to the female driver of the vehicle for failing to yield, but after inspecting the CCTV footage dismissed it.
Officers said it appears the driver could not see the pedestrians because of the large white motor home next to her.

Ms Aldan said that she still blames the drive and plans to sue.
The mother was transported to the neighbouring Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn Medical Center for treatment, while the child was airlifted to Phoenix Children's Hospital. Both are now at home.
