Taking pictures of the apocalypse? Photographer snaps dramatic storm on his iPhone

Looming on the horizon, this terrifying cloud appears to be about to completely engulf an Australian beach.
The astonishing shot was taken by professional Bruce Levick,  who captured the approaching storm off Calondra, Queensland on his iPhone using the panoramic app Pano.
Mr Levick, 38, had been filming the rehoming of wild koalas with the Australian Rescue Unit and did not have his usual camera equipment to hand.

He said: 'I wasn't sure how the picture were going to turn-out and I was gutted I didn't have my proper kit on me. I'd only had the phone for about eight months at the time and I hadn't really experimented with the camera.
'But now I use it every day. The camera is by far the best camera on a mobile phone that I've ever seen.'
Mr Levick had finished shooting for the day when the weather turned in a matter of minutes and the photographer ran to the beach to capture the remarkable scene.

He said: 'I was on my way home when I noticed the skies darkening. I stopped by the corner shop to get some snacks and in the space of a few minutes this storm front had formed.
'By the time I came out I could see the storm through the high-rise buildings in town and knew that if I raced down to the shoreline I would get a good view.
'I managed to get about five minutes shooting the storm before I had to escape the carnage.
'But when I got home and looked at the picture properly I was thrilled. The result was so good that I even sell this picture as a print on my website.'
