'Doctors told us we were having a boy at three month scan'

David Beckham has revealed he and wife Victoria initially thought they were having a baby boy.
The football ace said they had almost given up hope of having a daughter after doctors told them to get ready for another son at the three month scan.
But a second ultrasound scan showed that the couple, who already have three boys, were expecting a little girl instead.
 
He said: 'When you've had three boys you just kind of assume that you're going to have another one.
'Funnily enough, when we went to have the three-month scan they [the doctors] said, 'Oh, it looks like a boy.'
'We were, like, 'Oh, OK, great. Almost like a five-a-side team.'
'And then we went back and they were like, 'Actually, it's a girl.'
'The emotion hit us [then]. It's amazing.'

David first confirmed they were having a girl at a Los Angeles Galaxy team lunch earlier this month.
Victoria, 36, is now five months pregnant and is due this summer.
He added: 'It's nice to be prepared. The boys are so excited, thinking that they're going to have a little sister.'
KIIS FM host Ryan Seacrest told the star: 'You've got your own army now.
Los Angeles Galazy Beckham, 35, joked: 'Almost.
'We're almost there.'

The pair, who married in 1999, are parents to 11-year-old Brooklyn, eight-year-old Romeo, and five-year-old Cruz.
Beckham also revealed he and Victoria were 'excited' about their invite to the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29.
'We are very proud of our Royal family and to be invited to it, we are both excited. Victoria is a little bit worried because she will be a few more months pregnant by then,' he said.
