Former CSI star Gary Dourdan free on bail after 'drug possession' arrest

Former CSI actor Gary Dourdan has an important guest appearance coming up, and it's not on a TV show.
The troubled actor is scheduled to face a Los Angeles judge on July 7, after he was arrested today on a 'drug possession' charge.
The 44-year-old star, whose character was killed off of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2008, was arrested early this morning in Los Angeles, after
he allegedly crashed his car into several parked vehicles.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, responding officers found several pills of the drug ecstasy in Dourdan's possession.
The star was taken into custody and booked at the Pacific Division Police Station in the Venice neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
He posted $10,000 bail and was released about eight hours after his arrest.

This is not Dourdan's first brush with the law.
Not long after he was let go from CSI in 2008, Dourdan was arrested in Palm Springs, California after police found him asleep behind the wheel of his car.
Officers found possession of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy.

He avoided prison time by agreeing to a plea agreement and entering a drug-diversion program.
Dourdan is known his green eyes and striking good looks, was voted as one of Hollywood's 'Sexiest' actors by TV Guide Magazine in 2008.
The actor, who is currently single was married to supermodel Roshumba Williams from 1992 to 1994.
