Meet the mothers who have all had babies in the same street in seven weeks

It's almost like they planned it - except that none of these women knew each other before their serendipitous discovery.
Bizarrely these seven mothers, who all live on the same street in Miskin, near Pontypridd in south Wales, gave birth to their babies within seven weeks of each other.
And in another example of perfect timing, they are about to celebrate their babies' first birthdays - with one giant street party to coincide with the Royal wedding weekend.
It was midwives at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital that first noticed the women all had the same address of Crystal Wood Drive.


Kirsty Davies, 34, who was the last mother to give birth, said: 'When I went into the hospital the midwives were saying: "Oh here comes another one from Fertile Wood Drive."
'We didn't really know each other before - but we all do now.

'There's about 30 houses on the street so for us all to give birth within seven weeks of each other is quite impressive.'

Mrs Davies, who is mother to son Macsem, said: 'People are saying it's something in the water but we'll never know.
'We have all become close friends and the children will grow up together and be in the same classes through school.' 
The line-up actually produced eight babies - with Nia Edwards giving birth to twins Mali and Elen.

 
Mrs Edwards, 34, a teacher, said: 'I bumped into one of the girls at a doctor's appointment and we thought it was a big enough coincidence that we were both pregnant at the same time.
'To find out there were five more babies on the way was just brilliant.
'We're all great friends now and with our very own little mother and baby group, we hardly need to leave the street.

'It's also great for me, being the one with twins - there's always six other pairs of hands ready to help me.' 
She added: 'It will be a street party with a difference anyway - but when they announced the Royal Wedding it seemed like even more reason to celebrate. Hopefully we can get seven babysitters so we can celebrate into the night.'
